My Workspace featuring Filipino Local Products

On productive and inspiring days, it is when I’m at my workspace. It is also when I look at the items that are on my table and learn their brand stories. Even before starting www.baybayen.com, I started supporting local products by purchasing small items from the calligraphy community I volunteered before year 2015.

And now, I’m glad to have a platform where I can share the joy of supporting our local products within our website community. Listing the desktop local products I used for a while and highly recommend. This post will also be updated once I add new products in the future.

Note: Some products may not be Filipino-made and are bought for other desktop necessities that are not available yet on the local market.

1. Alunsina Hardbound books

Shaq bought this as a Christmas gift for me year 2020. What I love about this product is that it comes with 3 notebooks that you can refill and you can also request a custom name that they will engrave on the front cover. I’ve been using this as my “fuel book” as it contains my journal, idea book, notes, and other important stuff I’d like to keep with me wherever I go.

It has been 3 years and this is the most favorite item and gift from my husband in my life as I think it is a good investment if you love to journal but don’t want to keep collecting stickers to get from a cafe. (lol, used to be me!)

I have also been using Papelmeroti’s eco notebooks to refill my journal every year 🙂

2. Akap Vegan La Mesita Portable Workspace Bag

Who doesn’t love portable? For those who work anywhere, this is a good buy! I mostly use this at home now (since I am pregnant as of this current writing) but when I go to a cafe or a coworking space outside to work, this is also handy not just as a laptop bag but also as an organizer for all the stuff you’ll need when you need to brainstorm, take notes for a meeting, etc. such as pens, notebooks, cards, and the likes.

3. Desktop Whiteboard Organizer

Initially, I was looking for a whiteboard where I could use my daily to-do list but I saw this one on Lazada and chose this one as I prefer fewer items on my desktop and have a more functional item instead.

4. Bookshelf

My husband got this both for us from Lazada.

I will be updating this page whenever I discover and purchase a new local product that will be part of my workspace.
